We carefully bevel the bottom of the moldboard so that it will match the thickness of the existing plow share.As this moldboard is 1/2" thick and most shins are 5/16" thick, we suggest that you replace shins at the same time you replace your old moldboards.We offer two shin options when using our poly moldboards. The first is a 1/2" thick poly shin and the other is a double thick steel shin. The double thick steel welded shin is 2 standard shins welded together with the leading edge having a liberal amount of hardface applied to it.
